1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using RaidRoulette, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

RaidRoulette is a third-party platform that integrates with Twitch and Discord to help streamers discover and connect with collaboration partners. Our service includes:

  • Matchmaking: Finding compatible streamers based on games, vibe, timezone, and preferences.
  • Raid Facilitation: Initiating Twitch raids on your behalf (with your authorization).
  • Collaboration Channels: Creating private Discord voice channels or facilitating Twitch Stream Together sessions for registered users to connect before collaborating.
  • Collaboration Scheduling: Booking and managing collab sessions with other streamers.

3. Account Requirements

To use RaidRoulette, you must:

  • Have a valid Twitch account and authorize RaidRoulette to access it via OAuth.
  • Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required to use Twitch in your jurisdiction).
  • Provide accurate profile information to ensure quality matches.
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials.

4. Twitch API Usage

RaidRoulette uses the Twitch API to provide its services. By using RaidRoulette, you acknowledge that:

  • We act as an authorized third-party application under Twitch's Developer Terms.
  • Actions taken through RaidRoulette (such as raids) are subject to Twitch's Terms of Service.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your use of raid features complies with Twitch's Community Guidelines.
  • Twitch may revoke API access at any time, which could affect RaidRoulette's functionality.

5. Discord & Twitch Integration

For collaboration features, you may use Discord voice channels or Twitch Stream Together. By using these features, you agree to:

  • Follow Discord's and Twitch's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
  • Respect other users in voice channels and stream sessions, and conduct yourself professionally.
  • Understand that Discord voice channels are temporary and created specifically for collaboration sessions.

6. User Conduct

You agree NOT to use RaidRoulette to:

  • Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate other users.
  • Send spam, unwanted solicitations, or promotional content.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
  • Share content that is illegal, obscene, hateful, or violates others' rights.
  • Attempt to manipulate ratings or reviews dishonestly.
  • Use the service to violate Twitch's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
  • Reverse engineer, exploit, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.

7. Ratings & Reviews

RaidRoulette allows users to rate their collaboration experiences. By using our rating system, you agree to:

  • Provide honest and fair ratings based on your actual experience.
  • Not create fake accounts to manipulate ratings.
  • Accept that your average rating will be visible to administrators.
  • Understand that we may remove ratings that violate these terms.

8. Blocking & Reporting

You may block users you don't wish to interact with. Blocked users will not appear in your matches and cannot contact you through RaidRoulette. You may also report users who violate these terms. We will investigate reports and may take action including warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service. You may also delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Upon termination, your profile data will be removed, but certain records (such as reports or blocked user data) may be retained for safety purposes.

10. Intellectual Property

The RaidRoulette name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. You may not use our branding without permission. Content you create (such as your profile description) remains yours, but you grant us a license to display it on our platform.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

RaidRoulette is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • The availability or reliability of Twitch or Discord integrations (which depend on third-party APIs).
  • The accuracy of user-provided profile information.
  • The quality, safety, or legitimacy of interactions with other users.
  • That the service will meet your specific needs or expectations.

12. Limitation of Liability

RaidRoulette is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: negative experiences with other users, loss of followers or viewers, or any consequences of raids initiated through our platform. You use RaidRoulette at your own risk and are responsible for your interactions with other users.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or through in-app notifications. Your continued use of RaidRoulette after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
